SIBERUT ISLAND PACKAGE

DAY 01 : AIRPORT - PADANG After meeting and greeting service on arrival at Airport (BIM) and Padang city tour. In afternoon transfer to Muaro Padang, Where we board on the night ferry to Siberut Island. Overnight on the ferry. DAY 02 : SIBERUT ISLAND Early in the morning we arrive in the harbor Muara Siberut. After some formalities we head for the interior of the island, by motorized canoe. We hike through plantations, rain forest and river valley to traditional Mentawai house. DAY 03 : SIBERUT ISLAND We explore the Mentawai culture and rain forest and hike to another village. Overnight in traditional house. DAY 04 : SIBERUT ISLAND We explore the Mentawai culture and working agriculture and hunting techniques. Overnight in traditional house. DAY 05 : SIBERUT ISLAND - PADANG We hike back to the main river and return to Muara Siberut, by motorized canoe. In the evening we board on the ferry to Padang. Overnight on the ferry. DAY 06 : PADANG - AIRPORT In the morning we arrive in Padang. Transfer to Padang Airport for the next destination. General Condition : - Accommodation : 03 Nights at traditional House Siberut Island -Transport : Tourist standard A/C, Coach / Mini bus for transfer Airport - harbor - Airport - Meals : 5 x Breakfast at Island, 4 x Lunch at Island and 5 x Dinner at Island -Guide NOTE: The Mentawai program is an adventures tour and exploration of Siberut tribes who still live in the forest and vegetation, roots of trees and raw-flush of hunted animal such as hogs, monkeys ect. No hotel or restaurant exits on the island. So, people joining the tour as to sleep in wooden / bamboo huts and it preserved food which has been made available on the request for tour. People joining the tour are requsted to prepare trekking shoes, water shoes, sleeping bag and dozes of malaria pills. Tour is only possible when day 01 of program is Monday or Thursday, because the ferry to Siberut Island usually depart on Monday and Thursday.
